Answers to some of the most frequently asked questions when making a reservation.

Q.  Do I need to bring linens or towels?

A.  Beds are made and linens and are provided for sofa-beds and chair-beds dependent on the number in your party.   We will swap out towels and sheets after at least 5 nights, at your request.  Please bring your own towels for the pool or beach use.

Q.  Are cottages air conditioned?

A.  No, normally it’s not necessary.  Most folks spend their days visiting local attractions, hiking, biking, and just enjoying themselves outdoors.  Temperatures drop most evenings to make it comfortable for sleeping.  Fans are provided. 

Q.  Is the pool heated?

A.  No, only what the sun provides 

Q.  When is check-in?

A.  Check-in is anytime after 2:00pm.  If you will be arriving after 10pm, please let us know, and we will leave your cottage open with a light on.  Stop by the office when you arrive to find a note telling you where your cottage is and register in the morning.  

B. If you are entering the area before 2pm, try going for a short walk or visiting the Basin or Flume in the Franconia Notch State Park.

Q.  When is check-out?

A.  Check-out is by 10:00am. Some accommodations can be made dependent on the subsequent rental. 

Q.  We are bringing our pet, what are the rules?

1.  Your pets must be “Leashed and Under Your Control at all times.” Your pets are not necessarily the only pets here.

2.  You must Clean Up after your pet.

3.  You are Responsible for any Damage done by your pet.

4.  No Excessive Barking that might bother others if your dog is left alone.

5.  If your pet sits on the furniture at home, they’re welcome to here as well, but PleaseQ.  How is cell phone coverage?

Most cell phones receive decent service in our area.

Q. What if I have to cancel my reservation?

A.  If you need to cancel your reservation and it is more than 10 days before you are due to arrive, we will refund your deposit less a $35 service fee.  If you must cancel within 10 days of your arrival date, we will try to rebook your visit for a later date that season.  If this is not possible, you forfeit your deposit.

Q. What if I have to leave early?

A.  We will gladly refund you your nightly room and tax charges for every night we are able to Re-Rent your cottage.
